I have wanted to dye my hair now for quite some time and now that the holidays have just begun it is the perfect time to do so. I actually wanted to dye my hair blue but you would be surprised how hard it is to find the correct dye. After my hairdresser couldn't find the colour that I wanted I decided to go for this brown ombré and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

My hair was actually not dyed but bleached. So the longer you leave the bleach in your hair the lighter your hair becomes. I wasn't too sure how light I wanted my hair to be but I didn't want it to be completely blonde. I just put my faith in my hairdresser and hoped for the best. There was a point where smoke was coming out of my hair and that was pretty intense but I survived.

I like how it's not too bright and not too dull either. I also love that the are different shades of brown and I think it's quite. Overall I am happy with the results, I really I wish I could've gotten blue but I guess there is always next time. The entire process didn't take very long and I can  explain how pleased I am about that. It took roughly 2 and a half hours and then my hair was on fleet. I'm really looking forward to to flaunting it these holidays. New hair don't care!

I've liked collecting stuff for as long as no as I can remember. It started with Barbie magazines, to insects(that was a dark time), to notebooks and the list goes on. My latest obsession is pins and badges. They are awesome because they are way easier to use than patches, no ironing or sewing involved and you can put them on many different items.

I like to put the pins and badges on my denim jacket and on my backpack. They add such a lovely twist to things and they are totally on trend at the moment. They are fun and there are literally thousands to choose from. 

My favourites have to be these five. They are just so cool and they make me so happy. The constellation is my absolute favourite and I don't even have to explain. Anything with stars and galaxies is just the best. I'm so glad that a I own a pizza badge and I'm so glad that pizza exists. I like the 'You can't sit with us' badge because I'm a Mean Girls fan but you can totally sit with me. The other two are just so aesthetically pleasing I just had to put them in my top five.

I bought all of l these at Cotton On, Factorie and Typo. I hope my collection continues to grow because pins and badges are the way to go. I'm also hoping to make a few so we will see how that goes.

I absolutely love shopping and it is no secret but watching my money go away is heartbreaking. It's really a problem but I have got a solution. I spend my money on my really affordable items and I can tell you that there are moments where I have regretted that but there are some occasions where I have found some really great items at a a really affordable price and I just have to share them with the world. 

Factorie Lipstick (R50)

I'm such a huge fan of Factorie. They have really cool clothes and they are always playing some great music in store. When I first saw their makeup range I had to try it. I purchased the chubby stick in the shade 'Sophia Latte'. It's not super pigmented but it a lovely tint. It is also long lasting and has a beautiful glossy finish.

Design Eyeshadow Palette (R55)

I absolutely love the colours on this this palette, they are dark yet neutral. It's a great palette to start off with because the colours work well together, it has a great pigmentation and it's quite easy to blend. It would have been wonderful if it had a mirror but the price is great so I'm not complaining.

Design Liquid Eyeliner (R20)

This was actually my first liquid eyeliner and I would definitely buy it again. It is just fantastic, it creates one smooth line and the brush is stable which makes life way easier.

Rubi Lipstick (R20)

I purchased this lipstick in black and although it is not as pigmented as I would like it to be I found a great use for it. It can be combined with a another lipstick create a darker shade and it the best thing ever. I think I need to get an award. 

Cocoa Heaven Hand & Nail Cream

I love any product that smells amazing and let me tell you that they are not lying when they say it's cocoa heaven. It leaves my hands feeling smooth and a little goes a long way. Overall it a wonderful product for a great price.

I like to think of myself as someone that is motivated. I make an effort to wake early and go to bed late everyday. I spend a lot of time doing things that I don't have to do in order to reach my goals. It isn't always easy but finding motivation helps you to get up everyday and work hard towards what you want. Yes, sometimes you do feel tired and that you don't really want to do anything and that's okay. Sometimes you have to go out and search for motivation.

My number one source of motivation has to be my goals. There is just so much I want to achieve and I know that it's not just going to happen. I have to work hard everyday to make my dreams come true. Whenever I think of where I want to be I get motivated to do more because I can't sit and do nothing and hope that everything will fall into place. I wish it was that easy but it's not so whenever I'm feeling lazy I think of my goals and they push me to work harder. 

Success is also such a great source of motivation. When you know that you are moving forward you don't want to stop. The greatest feeling is knowing that your hard work paid off and that motivates you to keep on going because you knew know that whatever it that you are doing is working. It is important to set small goals because when you achieve them, they take you one step closer to the bigger goal and it assures you that you are capable of achieving your dreams. You just have to take it one step at a time.

Failure can be a source of motivation but it's hard to think of it that way.  You  put all your effort into something and then watch it crumble right before your eyes. I must admit that it's heartbreaking and it might even make you want to give up but my advice is that you look at it as a lesson. You found a way that didn't work so pick yourself up and try something new.

Sometimes you feel defeated and just need to take a break and that's okay. Don't forget to get back up and remember why you started.

Everything has been so hectic lately and the only thing on my mind has been exams. I decided to give myself a little break and do some painting. I bought myself watercolour paints. However, I only bought myself a watercolour sketch pad and I can already tell that my life a whole lot better. Normal paper usually gets soggy and the end product is not as aesthetically pleasing as it could have been.

I decided to give hand lettering a try on the first page of my new sketch pad. I'm a huge fan of hand lettering and I decided it's time for me to join in on the fun. My paint brush made this a huge mission because the bristles are spread out which make it hard to make thin lines. So next on my list of supplies to buy is a new paintbrush.

I am really happy with how this turned out. It's not the best in the world but it is a good start. I got a picture from Tumblr and just painted the quote. I am going to continue practicing by writing quotes and just having fun with it. 

Hand lettering is also so therapeutic and was a wonderful distraction from all the exam stress. Since practice makes perfect I'm challenging myself to do at least one painting every week and I'm definitely excited about it. I have been MIA for the past week. I have been stressing a lot about these exams because I'm going to use these marks to apply for university and all the thoughts running through my head have just been overwhelming. What do I even want to study? Am I going to qualify? Do I even want to go to university? So, now I haves calmed done a bit and will just be chatting in this post.

A lot of the thinking I did also included my blog. I have been trying to fit my blog into a certain category and that just isn't working for me. I want my blog to be more of a creative space with new and exciting ideas. I don't even know what that is but I'm going to be changing things up a bit. I'm really excited but I still have to study for exams so all the new stuff will be up in a couple weeks. So watch this space.

I love YouTube, that's where I started after all and lately I've been spending a lot of time on there. This has made me want to make more videos. I have made a couple of videos recently but I want to add a creative touch to them.

I really don't know what to expect in the future but I am excited. I know I want to make some changes and I'll see where that takes me. I'm starting a new chapter and maybe even a new book!
