I absolutely love this skirt. It's such a wonderful colour and the patterns are gorgeous. I always wear this skirt with a simple top, the skirt deserves all the attention. I went for a long sleeved top as it was a bit chilly. It's almost winter and I am not ready at all. The shirt is actually a larger size but I love the oversized, boxy effect. 

Of course I went for my signature frilly socks and boots combo. It just makes sense and I think it adds an edgy feel to this look. To finish off the look I wore my daisy chocker which adds some fun and playfulness. I have officially decided that if I was a cartoon this is the outfit I would like to be drawn in.

 1. If you had an unlimited amount of money, what's the first thing you would do?

 I would probably pack and travel with my sister. There's so much to see and so much to do!

 I really love the song Free by Rudimental featuring Emeli Sande. It reminds me that just because you aren't good at something it doesn't mean you shouldn't not. Everyone is free to do whatever that makes them happy.

 3. What's your biggest tip for other bloggers in terms of staying organised?

 Don't put things off until the last minute. Do it as soon as possible(I'm still working on this).

 4. Who is the one person, living or dead, you would most like to meet?  

I would love to meet Lena Dunham because I love how she encourages people to be comfortable with who they are and how they look and I think she would be really cool to hang out with.

 5. As a blogger, what is the number one brand you would love to work with and why?

 I would love to work with Typo because I just love their products so much! They have everything that I love, from notebooks to phone cases and just about everything else in between!

Wedding :

Floral prints will always work for weddings. I absolutely love how subtle this print is and it definitely complements the style of the dress. Skater dresses are also a winner because they are playful but still chic.  

Office:

I think office dresses should be kept simple but not too simple. It should be something that's comfortable yet not boring. I decided to go for this May shirt dress. I feel like a shirt dress is fun and the belt makes this dress a bit more formal and suitable for the office. 

Party:

All-white parties have been quite popular this season to a point where I am almost sick of them but the beauty of this dress has made me make an exception. There is so much detail in this dress and it is absolutely gorgeous. The lace makes the dress unique and the neckline just completes this dress. 

Day Adventure:

Loose fitting dresses were made for adventures. They are easy to throw on and are comfortable which is wonderful because all you need to think about is having a good time. This dress has a sporty feel to it and wearing with a plain pair of sneakers would create the ultimate sporty luxe look. The collar? I've only got one thing to say, AMAZING!

Everyday:

What would I be thinking if I didn't include a little black dress in this post? You can never go wrong with a little black dress and it is suitable for just about any occasion. I love the style of the dress and it's simplicity too. As I like to say, you need to find a little black with a twist. The fringe just adds a little something extra to the dress without being overpowering.

So yesterday was my birthday, I'm seventeen now. Woah. Where did the time go? I'm so close to being an adult and I still get extremely excited when I walk into a stationery shop or a toy shop. Tshegofatso, why are you like this? It's okay because birthdays are my favourite and I had a blast yesterday! I spent my birthday with my sister and I wouldn't have it any other way. No matter how much we fight she'll always be my best friend. 

It's amazing how much difference a year can make and I am grateful for that. I am a completely different person now. I've grown, I've learnt, I lost a couple of friends, I've met new people and I embarked on new journeys.  

In the past I've let a lot of opportunities pass but now as I begin a new chapter of my life I want to do more. I have been doing a lot recently and I just want to continue doing whatever it is that I enjoy. I've learnt that it's good put yourself first sometimes and if it makes you happy you should keep doing it. Life is too short to care about what anyone has to say. Here's to being seventeen! Let's do this!

I love backpacks because they are super convenient, hassle free, and they are currently trending alongside bucket bags. Leather backpacks are perfect for the days when you're dressing more casual and have a lot of stuff to lug around.

Around this time last year I loved blue and white small-checkered shirts. When I saw this one from Pink Arrow Boutique, the boyfriend casual look instantly drew me in!

Dear John Scarf

Hopefully Felix Rey co-founder Lily Rafii Band didn't use her husband Doug Band as inspiration for this comical scarf! I love scarves because can be worn in a million different way and this one has an adorable Parisian feel to it!

Wide Leg Pants

Wide leg pants are definitely making a comeback right now. A light and airy pant paired with a tank is perfect for warmer days when you get sick of wearing shorts all the time.

Leather Penny Lane Sandals

These Elina Linardaki sandals are so crazy and obnoxious that I love them for it! They seem like such a fun shoe and wearing them you would just radiate positivity and happiness.  

Beckett Faux-Suede Miniskirt

Suede is huge right now and I cannot get enough of a good suede skirt. BCBG always does a great job taking a trend and creating a classic piece.

This time I decided to go for something that will be quick to do(I spent less than an hour at the salon) and even easier to handle. My sister suggested that I go for these thick straight back braids and I'm happy to say she again made a great suggestion.

There's not much I can do with these braids, if I want to change things up a bit I can tie it up at the back and that's about it but too be honest I'm not complaining. I'm just so busy at the moment I do not have time to deal with my hair. I forgot to specify the length I wanted but the hairstylist decided to make it long which I definitely love.

This hairstyle should last me about 3 weeks which means that this is the hairstyle I'll have on my birthday and that's fantastic! My hair is in order, I'm trying to get my life in order(take a look at my previous post) and the first term of school is almost over, maybe seventeen won't be too bad.
