On Saturday I attended the Nolandu Couture champagne breakfast with my sister. It was quite a struggle to get there as we had to get up super early and we also got lost along the way but it was totally worth it. We got to start off our day with good food,  interesting people and of course, wonderful clothing. 

Nolandu Couture is a clothing line which sells a range of clothes, handbags and scarves.  The breakfast was aimed at honouring the loyal customers and celebrating the journey ahead. 

I had a lovely time and I'm glad I could be there because it's fantastic to see a brand start a new journey and it's great to support small businesses.  The scarves and the handbags really caught my eye. My sister and I treated ourselves to some scarves (can we just fast forward to winter? ) and I've also added some items to my wishlist. 

The rest of the morning was spent eating yummy bites, socialising with some cool people and shopping! I'm really looking forward to seeing the future of Nolandu Couture and be sure to take a look at their website here  as well as their Twitter and Instagram.

It feels like ages since I shared an outfit post. I never have enough time to do anything these days and I've also been repeating the same outfit (that's not a bad thing). Anyway I have been wearing this t-shirt nonstop since I got it. I bought on sale and it just makes a simple outfit way more interesting. 

I like to keep it casual sometimes so, a pair of jeans and a t-shirt always do the trick. These jeans are probably my favourite item in my closet.  They are an awesome fit which is not something that I usually find and I purchased them on sale on Black Friday.  I just keep winning! 

Last and definitely not least are my shoes which were a birthday present from my family. I really wanted a pair, they surprised me with them and I can't even explain how happy I was and still am. They just complete the outfit and also make me look super cool. What more could I ask for?

It seems like it has been ages since I've written an Artventure post and today I don't only want to talk about my drawings but creating in general.  I feel as though I have always created from an early age through writing and DIYs. Although the years have gone by I still create but the way in which I do it has changed. 

I have been doing a lot of thinking and trying to figure out what on earth I want to do with my life. I am yet to find an answer and I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing.  As I mentioned in my previous post,  I'm just taking it one step at a time.

The are a couple of things that have sparked my interest which I would like to pursue in the next couple of weeks. So, I guess that's what this post is about. These are all things I've always wanted to do but I wanted to wait for the right time but I've learnt that there's no right time and if you want to do something you have to start where you are with what you have.

● I want to create a web comic. I'm still not sure if I'll post it here or on my Tumblr. 

● I want to make mobile apps. I have some cool ideas and I also did a game development course so, that's exciting. 

● I also completed a course on web development so I really want to put my skills to good use. 

● I want to make some money. Who doesn't?  I'm still trying to figure out how to do it.

●I want to make illustrations and animations. 

● I want to create some short films and write some short stories. 

That's all I can think of at the moment. So, here's to turning dreams into a reality!

I have always loved magazines and I probably always will. It all started a couple of years ago with a Barbie magazine and I haven't looked back since. I don't exactly know what it is that fascinates me. Maybe it's the fact that I enjoy reading or that I love aesthetically pleasing pictures.  I don't really know.  My favourite magazines at the moment are Elle and Stuff magazine and I will discuss the reason behind that.

I have consistently purchased Elle since mid 2014. I love the style of fashion they have in the magazine. I might not always be able to afford those clothes but I'll get there one day.  The magazine is also feminist which is definitely a good thing. They always have stories about some interesting women that are doing amazing things. There's also a section about travel which is my favourite. I wanted to be a travel writer at some point of my life and I still kinda do. Reading about all these different places is intriguing and some of them get on the list of places I want to visit one day. 

I love all things tech and if you can't afford all the cool gadgets,  you read about them which is why I love Stuff magazine. I get to read about all the latest gadgets, software and just about anything else in between.  It has also inspired me to change things up on my blog so, I will be creating a lot more technology related content. It has also made me want to learn more about software development and robotics. It's just an explosion of really cool, geeky stuff (pun intended) and I couldn't ask for anything else!

n Sunday I turned 18. You probably know this by now because I vlgged my last day of being 17, I made a video and wrote a blogspot about my thoughts about turning 18, I also vlogged my birthday and now I'm writing this blog post about how I celebrated my birthday. If that's not enough then I don't know what else will do it. I really thought I wasn't excited about my birthday because I was turning 18 which means being an adult and having responsibilities. How boring! Then, it was Saturday 11 March and I began feeling the excitement. 

I had absolutely no plans for my birthday (lame) but I am really good at making last minute plans which is a blessing and a curse. I spent the day with my family who were already gathering for other family matters but I ended up having such a wonderful day. I don't remember the last time I spent my birthday with family. I had loads of fun, ate cake, danced a bit and just had a good time. 

I just wanted to thank everyone that made my day special. It means a lot to me. I also got some beautiful messages that almost made me cry. Overall, it was a fantastic day spent with wonderful people. I'm really looking forward to many more days like this.

I am so happy to announce that I am launching my online store , 24 Daisies , today. I have been working on it for quite some time and I cannot believe this day has finally arrived. I don't know how I was able to keep it a secret. 

So, I will only be selling printed t-shirts at the moment but I might add more items in the future. I have wanted to open an online store for quite some time and I am glad I am actually doing it.

Sometimes you have just got to take a chance and hope for the best. I am determined to work hard and make it a success. Haters gonna hate, potatoes gonna potato so just keep doing what makes you happy.
